1998 Select stuff for sale - here's the Chipper Select Numbers:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0921982066" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

And he includes a list of some of the other stuff. Is the seller on this board?

This is a subset series of 20 cards and I also have Greg Maddux, Pedro Martinez, Randy Johnson, Chuch Knoblauch and Nomar Garciaparra which I may or may not put on eBay soon.

I also have both promo and regular Selecteds from a ten card series and only a few cards from the base set (VERY RARE) such as Grieve, Walker, Konerko, Pettite, Mondesi, Sheffield and McGriff.

He is not a member here. I know him and some of his friends well. He does have alot of nice stuff in his collection. :)

I stayed away because of the private listing. I really would like to see what they look like though.

Recently pulled, Frank's first pack issued serialized card, numbered to his jersey number. Please excuse the large images, PB hasn't updated my resize yet.

Unbelievable card! Makes my heart skip a beat to look at! Hard to believe that this card took 20 years to be pulled out of a pack........

were you the jeter guy that posted a select numbers jeter a couple months ago? I thought that card was sick looking..dropped the seller a line about the Maddux... sadly will be out of my price range right now I think though!

Anyone have a good idea how to sell a player collection of 90's inserts? Majority or them are #'d /250 or less and include some of the rarest inserts.

I'm seriously thinking of selling my Manny collection. No time to continue it and I want to focus solely on Biggio.

Any help is appreciated.

It's hard to sell a player collection and try to get actual decent money for it. I'd say the best thing to do is to contact the player collectors here directly and give them first crack at their players. Then maybe piece together lots and sell them off on eBay. I personally have seen a spike in single card activity for my player lately. There's Nothin like getting numbered cards for around 2-3 bucks each.

Hope things go good for you with this endeavor, especially since it looks like you'll be taking your sales and putting it into your Biggio collection. Good luck!

Well, the good thing is that my Manny collection is extreme high-end of the 90's spectrum. We're talking the most sought after insert sets and nothing numbered above /250. Many of them are graded BGS 9 or better as well. So, it wouldn't just be Manny collectors bidding, should I decide to sell individually.

It's 96 cards in total and these are some things for a taste:

Pretty sure I've posted this one before, but still haven't seen another un-numbered. Thoughts?

These were the replacement cards that were sold off when Pacific went bankrupt. They weren't serial numbered, likely so that they could match the number if one was returned. I bought these Andruw's off a seller *The-Kurdelskis* a few years back...he had pretty much every set of the unnumbered.

Send all non-doubles to boomo and list-run. Lately it seems like single player listing with 25+ cards have drawn more interest than normal.

Wow, awesome Manny collection and awesome Pacific unnumbered Andruw collection. This is a great page! I might have to see if the Kurdelskis still have some.

I'm pretty sure that these blanks were "acquired" by a Pacific executive and sold, probably to the guy mentioned above. That's who I received all mine from.

I see a 2000 Vanguard Holographic Purple. Still my lowest numbered card to date (#'d out of 10).
