I put a bid in on the two Kevin Brown diffractor lot on Ebay just for the hell of it. Dude wants way to much for it anyway.
He then sends me this which made me laugh pretty hard.
"Hello, we just noticed that you have these cards for sale and that you are interested in our Kevin Brown diffractors. Would you be interested in trading our two Brown diffractors for your clemens/jones diffractors?"

I had recently been working on getting access to a supercollection. The owner of the shop finally called saying that the Bagwell binder from the collection was there and ready for viewing. I left with 30 cards and 100 dollars lighter in the wallet. I will be posting my entire haul, including a COMC order in the Bagwell thread, but I felt that these had to be shown off here in the 90s thread. Enjoy!

Ugh, those dreaded inverted Mirror Image cards. I dont have any yet, mainly cuz I would have to bid against the Thomas collectors for em. And I dont have that kind of money in the first place :benson:

Not trying to throw it in anybody's face. I just really like diffractors and I'm excited to have it. I have 7 total. Had 8 but someone offered me a good deal for 1.
I think you're just upset that I didn't sell the card to either of you. I guess you're entitled to it for a crap price because you collect him LOL I paid 22 bucks for a Caminiti diffractor so people are willing to pay money for these even if the player isn't Griffey or Ripken.

Another Prime example of greed because someone assumes that someone is desperate, rather than trying to help a fellow collector out. Particularly one who takes an active roll in this thread.
