Congrats! Snuck one past the hoarder

I lost out on the gold one of these about two weeks ago when it went into the teens. Then the bronze pops up so I figure maybe I can get it for about half the price of the gold. I get it for $1.36 8-)

1998 Topps Stars Galaxy Bronze Larry Walker /100

I'm in a really competitive 20-team fantasy baseball league that's been around since 1991. In 1997 the unthinkable happened... a team won a wire-to-wire championship. Nobody else has even come close. The cherry on his sundae was Larry Walker.

1997 - 49 HR - 130 RBI - 143 R (in 153 games) - 33 SB - .366 Avg - .452 OBP - 1.172 OPS

I was able to get one from the seller that had listed a ton of the 1993 Refractors. He had 2 of the Reynolds for $20.00 each and I couldn't hit the BIN fast enough. The second copy he had went shortly afterwards also.

Yes, I'll jump on here... Very very sweet pick-up. I have one Albert Belle and that is really all I need for my appetite. Tried pulling the trigger on some PSA 10s but just can't get them at a price I am comfortable with. Congrats anyways!

Few cases of 1999 Topps Tek just posted on eBay. Crazy that low and behold somewhere there are a few cases laying around lol. I bet there are some Gold Belles waiting to see the light of day... Odds are the case won't be taken for $950 and those boxes/packs will continue to collect dust :x
You'd be suprised the amount of sealed cases of big-time wax that are squirreled away.

Really?! I would probably be surprised consider I'm in the camp which thinks a lot of cardboard is busted open already.

Jason's another local guy. We grew up together in Federal Way, trading cards since we were little kids. He got me back into cards a few years ago.

Sweet! Makes sense, though. When I saw his screen name I thought of Layne Staley...not sure if that was intentional or not, but definitely local!
