wlalocal71, very nice! Is that a PSA 10? Looks to be in a case, and has super sharp corners.

I wish it was a 10, corners are really nice, but the centering is off..

Got this in the mail today, surface is a bit scratched up, but its a really nice card IMO. Need the 24 kt version!

Thanks, but as far as 90s stuff goes, I typically only go for Mondesi cards, maybe a few Piazza cards here and there. Sweet pull though, congrats!

Got this on ebay. I always wanted one of the award winner cards.

Awhile back we were discussing these cards. Now I see better the problem these cards have with surface scratches. At first glance, this card looked okay, but the more angles I looked at it in the light, the more scratches I could see on the gold foil. Even worse were the surface scratches on other areas of the card. They are like swirly scuffs more than anything.

So then I pull this out of my collection to try to display an example of one that has foil that is more bronze than gold. Not sure if it's showing up for you guys. I checked its surface as well. It's much better than the Clemens. In fact, at first I thought it had no scratches at all. But the more angles I looked at, the more I could see it did have some individual scratches (as opposed to those swirly scuffs).

None of this really bothers me since I don't grade and I can't really see the damage unless specifically looking for it in the light.
