Awesome Card! I love that set. Belle signed over the others faces lol
LOL! Not surprising right? I didn't notice it but it's the same one 36/100. He probably did that on purpose.

these cards get no love but man are they tough finds.. I need the Canseco and find it hard to believe I got some of the tougher cards from that year before it. there is a Bagwell on Ebay for $9 right now that I cannot believe is still there. I wish my guy would show up for that cause the BIN would be hammered by me

I wish that was still active, cuz I'd still buy it.

Is that Buhner a Jumbo? Thats sweet. I've had my Bagwell for years...

That's because the Bagwell has never been a tough find. I remember people griping about these a few months ago...how hard they were to obtain. I wonder if certain players were harder to find than others. Bagwell has always been easy to snag from this set.

As for the EX card...I posted that in it's very own thread a while back. And yes...it sucked. Goo gone on cards? Okay. But I'm still not buying from that ass clown. I mean...at least make it look half way legit. Jesus Christ!

Why is there not a single 1997 spx grand finale for sale anywhere!? Does anyone have any available? It seems weird they are #/50 but impossible to find... :?:
I have one Belle and was able to find another through Belle connections for a McGwire collector on here. Very very very tough to find but they're out there.

Lets see the Belle!
Ask and you shall receive... This is the one I helped a McGwire collector secure (38/100). My PC has the 36/100 card. I can scan in tomorrow.

Funny, I've got #35/100, anybody here have #37?

There has been an ARod Power Pack Jumbo on Ebay for a 1.00 a few
times over the course of the year and has never got a bid. I agree they are
or at least it was a tough find. I have seen 2 Griffey's and never a Canseco or Thomas.

I saw that Buhner and passed not knowing it was rare.

Did someone here steal this? The seller acknowledges that it sold for hundreds, yet puts a $99 BIN on it. I am so jealous right now...

I happened to notice it when looking at the Griffey that got listed yesterday. The way the photo picks up some glare almost makes the Griffey look like a mirror. Fortunately the seller provided a scan of the back showing a serial number of 88 which must it out from mirrordom.

Second to sell in the last month, both were steals.

Had a pretty amazing Frank Thomas mail day yesterday:

I'd say so Randy. Holy cow. That's an epic grouping of cards. Congrats! I noticed in the Thomas thread you bought out a collection. From a fellow FCB'er or ebay?

That was the best box, which was shipped first, and then about 10,000 more coming along......most of which probably won't compare to the first shipment. It was a former big collector on ebay that has moved on to collecting other things outside of sports cards.
