So why would the pack pulled version be worth more than the redeemed? You can still get the pack pulled one. Can't say that about the redeemed version.

My guess: Those that got these before they expired redeemed them. It was dirt cheap. Hell, I redeemed one back in the day. Those that got them after they expired threw them away because they were worthless. Nobody wanted them. Because everyone threw them away, the scarcity skyrocketed. Value went up.

Sure, you can still find them in boxes but they were crazy rare pulls to begin with.

and #3 the main reason i think is if you redeemed it, they were written on, sent in and destroyed, and replaced by the certified version

Here is the stat standout promo I picked up last weekend from a fellow Puckett collector.

Someone listed this at almost 90% off, so I had to grab it. Didn't realize until now that it's been peeled, but I think it's still quite a steal.

That's pretty sweet! Although I am not sure why you cut the corner... Should have just written "promo" on the soft sleeve.
I literally laughed out loud all alone while my wife was watching Greys Anatomy...

Edit- Realized the laughing may have been caused by the tequila for the most part

Always been little confused with the black gold winner cards.

First, do these three have any value?

Lastly, do all 93 winner c cards have wrong backs?

Mine has bonds, clark, gwynn, etc pictured on front but back reads "you've just won 11 topps black gold cards numbered 23-33 group c" and lists completely different players than pictured on the front.

What set is the Rivera from? Is that a Padres logo on the bottom left?

1999 Topps Chrome. I believe it's part of the basic set since the card # on back is #240. Yes, Padres logo for the 1998 World Series :)
