I still think I threw mine out back in the day. I was all over 1995 Score and sent my Gold Rush team sets in quickly. I remember in addition to getting the Platinum Team Sets back in their own unique snap-tite cases I also received back the cards that I sent in. They were in baggies. I am pretty sure some, if not all, of the cards I got back had the stamp and I threw them out thinking they were defaced. I was an idiot. I wasn't thinking straight either, though, because I was furious that they returned my Orioles and White Sox (coincidentally considering papa's post) saying they wouldn't deliver to a post office box despite all my other team sets being delivered there. I knew the Ripken and Frank would make them worth money, so I had to wait 10+ years before I found the team sets at a reasonable enough price to finish off my Series I Platinum set. Just think... I could have nearly the entire Series I set w/ stamp... ::facepalm::::facepalm::::facepalm::

I feel for ya. I can not tell you how many 68 Ryan's I put in my bike spokes. ALOT!

THat would be amazing! I sent mine in fairly early, too, but never got any stamped cards back. Mariners, Padres, White Sox and Dodgers...

I sent in 6 or so sets - I still have them in the snap tights but no stamped gold rush cards came back with them for me either...

I picked mine up a couple of years ago from Beckett Marketplace. I remember a seller had listed a few dozen different players and I snagged Johnny-O for my PC. I think it was under $5. Found it by accident as I had just typed in "olerud gold" in the search box, though I can't remember what I was really looking for!

If I were to pick one 90's insert to own before I burn in the fiery bowels of hell with all my friends, it would have to be a 1998 Leaf R&S Troy Glaus Longevity. Unless I missed a copy somewhere, I haven't seen a single one show up since I started collecting again. Even if one turned up, I doubt I could justify whatever it would cost to get one, but that doesn't mean I can't lust over it in my head!
