Going through some cards i collected when i was younger, do believe i have found a 1998 topps tek "diffractor" Ken Griffey Jr. I am told it is quite rare, i am thinking about rejoining the hobby and havent decided the card's fate, as of yet.

A One to One is a One of One or Masterpiece card. One to One is just what they happened to call a 1/1 in that issue. I'm surprised that Jeter didn't go for more. Is there something fishy with it?
$8? ****, I can't even find the crappy common players from that set that I need for anything close to $8.
Think he was laughing at one TO one, instead of the correct one OF one. Chaz knows what a 1 of 1 is. A 1 to 1, guess that would make 2 copies, right?

Actually, for that set, one TO one is correct. That's what the 1/1 parallels were called from that Gold Label set. Like the Fleer Sports Illustrated 1/1s were called "First Edition." That's just what the name of the set was.
How far are you along on that set? Would be a cool completion. What do commons usually go for? Saw some on ebay for $11.99.
You going after the ones from 1997 too? The Goudey Great Foils? I have an extra Griffey...
