I thought I had finished my Rainbow with the pickup of the Gold Press Proof (non checklist). As I was going into my list, I saw each card had a "Media Test Issue". Anyone know what those are?

Media Test Issues are the ***/300 ones, sometimes referred to as Executive Promos. I've seen quite a few of the Studio ones over the years, but never a Bagwell. Not sure of the mintage, but could easily be a 1/1. I've never seen a double of any player ever listed and I've either bid or tracked the majority that have been listed.

I need to pay more attention to these versions of cards that have different variations based on the early part of a print run. I only have the non Die Cut statistical standout.

There numbers ***/300 on the back

I won the Jeter Hard Hats Sample I am happy about that it will knock off another 1997 card I need. I was thinking I was going to lose at first.

The redemption says "this is not a game piece" or something like that in the box on the back. The regular SP says something about redeeming the card for the million dollar prize

That Bagwell has to be a redemption, otherwise it's unique. That was the million dollar card.

Not it sure if anyone claimed the prize, but it was 20 annual payments of $50k. Wonder what happened/would happen when they filed for bankruptcy

There was a 50 card redemption set available. Someone used to have a bunch that they sold on eBay. I think it had a white border, from memory. The sets sold in the $20-30 range.

The back of mine says in the box "This is not an Official Game Card". I just checked on COMC. Theres only one Bagwell, like mine, and it says Redemption. But then other players cards have the same looking front, saying you are one step closer to 1,000,000. So, those are SP?

Cards 46-50 are SP. I think the prizes ranged from $100 (46)-$10k (49).
