I bought this 1999 Upper Deck Encore Gold FX Chipper from the same seller. Nice #001 /125 serial number. The Ripken is for my PC, but the Chipper is available if someone needs it.

I've had the Red for years but it was in raw form. I just sent it in to PSA last month in hopes it came back matching the Green and Purple that were already slabbed. I got lucky.

Yes it does. I've got a raw copy with no line. Should at grade at least a 9.

Awesome rainbow, Got me thinking though.... Does a refractor line hit you that much on a surface grade?? Or are there other issues?
Probably shouldn't grade so low based on surface, but if grading cards was your profession, would you feel awkward giving that ugly thing a 9+?
It's still pretty sweet and I'm happy to have it.

BGS tends to hit refractor lines harder than PSA, though over the years, they've gotten more "aware."
