I search sold results for Garvey to see what I may have missed to a BIN and it pisses me off every time I see something I didn't have a shot at, but I still need to know. I also have been tracking low serial number items, PSA 10s (and 9s for Tougher cards and even 8s for his 71 and 72) and unique oddball items selling for 10+ years now.

It took me years to get out of the habit of seeing what I missed. I break down maybe once every 6 months and then kick myself for doing so.

It just makes me angry seeing the massive amount of stuff I missed. I remember not buying for a while seeing the Griffey Gold Embossed get sold for $150

I check sold listings multiple times a day; not to try to undercut someone - I've had that happen to me - but to see what's out there and where it went. I've been able to acquire many cards after-the-fact just by knowing where they headed.

I never undercut either and hate when people do that. I have, however, paid the seller to put me in contact with the buy to pay them to pass up the card. Not the most cost effective way to go, but it gets the job done and keeps it ethical :)

I haven't shared much lately, but I'm still buying. Here are some images of the last 6 weeks or so; no time to scan at the moment.

Excuse the 2000 card thumbnail...don't know why I can't deleted or why it even posted.

The 1997 Select checklist is the sample.

I don't have pictures (yet), but I finished up my set of 1996 SP Special FX Die Cuts (48 cards, 49 with the Arod from 1997). Will look great next to my finished set of 1994 SP Holoviews Die Cuts. Still need 13 (mostly common) cards for the 1995 SP Special FX set - they are tough to find!

I've always liked the Select TOTT mirrors. They don't get a lot of love, but I think they are nice-looking cards.

Congrats to you guys. I'm always jealous when people post their guy's cards. I guess I will have to keep waiting for ARod to pop up. I'm never on COMC so please keep an eye out for me everyone. Thanks
