It's in hand, and I'm officially part of the club!

Given the no hand-numbering, my guess is that this was an autographed damage replacement that leaked out or it was signed in-person by Peter Max. Only way to tell the difference is to inspect the autograph in-hand to see if signature is under UV coating or on top.

How ca you tell if it’s over or under the coating? I’ve tried before and couldn’t say definitively whether it was or not.

It's tough, but with the right angle, lighting, maybe a loup, you may be able to see it. It also helps to have another Max auto in-hand as a comparison/reference point, but of course that can be pricey/difficult

yep, the subject on the card begins to (or has totally) turn green

90s Chrome cards are notorious for it it seems
It'd be interesting to see what PSA grade it would receive today...crack it and find out!

Ah gotcha. I probably don’t pay as much attention although some do seem better than others. This one looks good in person but not as good in a pic:

Few Ripken adds, finished my 12 card Epix set finally. Added a couple of Select Certified mirrors and my first PMG too!

Looooooosiana!
It has been a while since I've had something to add to this, as most of the Darryl Kile cards I need are super rare. This one came in yesterday.

Great find! It feels awesome when something that doesn't seem as rare finally pops up doesn't it!
