But do any of you guys feel like your card collection might be missing out on some of the best baseball players to walk this earth. What I mean is that today was Martin Luther King Day and they had specials all day on this channel about the greatest ***** Leaguers to play the game of baseball. In many instances they had players from every position and had comparisons to all the great big leaguers. Now a lot of these guys' dont have cards, and if they do they dont have a lot or cards that may be mainstream. Does anyone feel that your card is missing the "REAL" home run king or the "fastest man alive." This post is hopefully to see how everyone else feels and also maybe to figure a few of responses with some scans of some great cards of ***** Leaguers. Thanks guys'!

There's actually a bunch of ***** League stuff to collect. Check Ebay, tons of interesting items pop up all the time. There's vintage and there's even some certified ***** League autographed cards put out by Fleer in 2001 in their Greats of the GAme and a seperate subset called "Stitches in Time". Also, in the 1990s, there were a bunch of massive signings with many living ***** ballplayers conducted for the funding of the older players and their musuem. There's even some vintage cards that show of them. Have fun searching for this stuff.

I just wish I had MLB.tv.....
Only Channel to have :D

It's MLB Network not MLB TV. MLB TV is the internet MLB thing and they don't have MLB Network for those who don't have it on their cable or satellite provider.

As for ***** leaguers, I like my ***** Leagues card set, I believe put out by Fritsch or at least sold by them.

Sig and Bell are my Favorites.
The grade on the Bell is due to the ink on the back of the card, Bell crossed out a name on the back due to personal feelings. Great card with 4 sharp corners.

Correction, I have a person letter from Buck Oneil, he sent it in response to a letter I sent him about the HOF. It addresses my comment specifically and is sign BUCK, that is my favorite piece.

One of the few sets I have ever even considered going for, it's the only autographed set exclusive to ***** Leaguers. A Mays may exist though I've never seen it (I doubt it does.) The Wilson only came out when Fleer went bankrupt. It's unfortunate that the companies have not done more to remember the incredible tradition and stories of the ***** Leagues while the last few players are still with us.
