to any advanced collector, an actual 'Old' card will be older than the year your great grandad was born probably, the only company you'll be familiar with if youre into modern cards was a single set made by Fleer in 1923, otherwise all Topps cards are considered 'Newer' to people who say collect 'N' cards... cant really call cards that are closer to Now than the beginning of baseball card collecting 'Old'... baseball cards have been around for about 130 years
