Old question... shorted a hit, now what?

Sorry for a question that's been around before. Tried the search function but did not come up with anything.

Opened a couple of boxes of Ginter tonight (pretty fun break, and had family who would never consider opening baseball cards having some fun ripping packs) and was shorted an auto (best hit was a Goldschmidt auto... ouch.) Was wondering if it's accepted to contact Topps and if so, what the process is?

shorted an auto or shorted a hit? Did you get 6 hits total? (I think silks are considered hits, too, aren't they?) Not necessarily 1 auto 2 relics.

Send a letter explaining the situation along with the UPC from the box to their duryea address attn someone I can't remember. It's on their site. I'd look it up if I wasnt on my phone.

Sorry, shorted a hit. Got 2 jersey cards in each box and one auto. Nothing else of note.

A few years ago I bought all the packs from a sealed A&G retail 24ct. box.
The box had a "Guaranteed" hit, and there was none in the box. Since it was retail and odds are already stacked against you I was pretty bummed not to get the one thing that clearly said it was "guaranteed", so I contacted Topps.

Went online, explained the situation. They sent me a procedural form - I had to send back the receipt, all wrappers and the box.

I forget how long it took but they wound up sending me to common Game Used cards from that year's set.
I was happy with what they sent, because my issue was simply that I didn't get what it stated......I'd have loved if they sent something valuable, but I was just happy they made good.

They'll send you something but it'll be the worst GU card in the set. They only send out crap in cases like this. Sorry
