I have a bunch of posters from when I was in high school. Here's the first one, perhaps a poster a week until I go through all of them.

Anybody else have or remember this one?

Oh my gosh. I have over 200 2' x 3' posters of various athletes. From 1971 Reggie Jackson A's borderless, a Roberto Clemente White Border Sports Illustrated, to Pete Incaviglia of the Rangers, to Ben Roethlisberger and Kobe Bryant recently. I have 15 or 16 different Jordan posters. I had dreams of collecting all of them, but could not keep up. I love posters! Wish I had scans of them. They are full of tack holes on the corners, as they were my room decor for many, many years! I would switch out as the seasons changed. Basketball, Baseball, and Football. Some Hockey, too. Good memories... Costacos Brothers, Nike, Adidas, Sports Illustrated, I have so many! I do not have that Eric Davis one, but I have a Deion Sanders on the Braves very similar!

This is a 1968 SI Lou Brock poster. I thought it was gone forever, until I finally came across it in my Mom's house a couple fo years ago. Yes, those are signs of mouse action on the right side of the poster.

This is a 1987 Super America Schedule poster that I had Pucket sign, and years later, finally added Gaetti.

I have a ton of posters, too, I may try to show a few more.

Great thread. I used to have one of these that my Dad got autographed by him at one of the old National Sporting Goods Association shows. I'm not sure whether it survived all my moves over the years. I'm going to have to do some digging...

I never owned them but my two favorites were Dale Murphy's 'Power Alley' and 'Stickball' with Gooden. I see them every once in a while on Ebay but they are set at pretty high prices.

Is this from when the Cubs were moonlighting as Chippendales?

EDIT for mine.

I had that Bash Brothers poster.
This is the Eric Davis poster I had:

Even as a Sox fan, I liked this guy:

And my favorite poster (I'll eventually get a 16x20 of this signed):

I'd be very interested in getting these as well.

I had the "Stickball" poster mounted on foamcore. I should check at my parents and see if it's still there.

Anyone else have these old posters? My mom was just reminding me about how I used to sit on the couch looking out the window for days and days waiting for the UPS truck to come with more Sports Illustrated posters that I had ordered. I remember once in 1981 or 1982 I ordered a Ken Anderson (Bengals) and Chris Collinsworth (Bengals) and Kellen Winslow (Chargers) Buy 3 get one free, and she begged me to get Joe Montana as the free one. Good choice, Mom!

WOW! Talk about raising the dead! I had taken some pics of a few things then forgot all about them once the topic got buried!

So here we go.

Of course I have a Gary Gaetti Poster!

posters_0005.jpg

One of my favorites. A mail-in special from KMOX radio after Lou Brock broke Ty Cobb's all-time stolen base record. Facsimile autograph, but I would definitely have Lou sign it someday if he comes around to a show.

(This one should make TBTwinsFan keel over dead) 1991 Gophers schedule poster autographed by many former Gophers who became major leaguers, and a few who never made it to the Show. Included are Terry Steinbach, Greg Olson, Tim McIntosh, Brent Brede, J.T. Bruett, Dan Wilson, Bryan Hickerson, Denny Nagle, Brent Gates, and of course, Paul Molitor and Dave Winfield. The Winfield is unfortunately smuged. My wife tried to have it signed with the gold paint pen (back before Silver Sharpies existed) and it dodn't go well. Wasn't Winfield's fault, and it wasn't Janet's fault--she had good intentions and felt real bad when it came out so ugly. Just the way it goes.

Here's another rare goodie. 1983 Miller Lite All Stars. These commercials were legendary for their humor, and the appearance of folks from all sports--fishing, rodeo, even author Mickey Spillane and Rodney Dangerfield!--not to mention greats like Frank Robinson, Bob Uecker, Boog Powell, Billy Martin, Boom Boom Goeffrion, Bubba Smith, Red Auerbach, John Madden and more. It's pretty beat up, but still I bet it's hard to find many of these around.

Last one. The Twins have given posters away for years, and I have too many to show here, but this is a cool one. After Kirby Puckett retired, this is one they gave away during the weekend celebration for him. All his Topps cards and his career statistics.

Man, this is an old thread. I started it and never posted another poster. I will now go stand in the corner and think about what I've done.

Greg, awesome Brock poster, never seen that one before. I have an old Brock poster somewhere, have to see if I can find it. Have 3 or 4 Puckett posters as well.

I don't have a pic and I couldn't find one on ebay or anything but in college I had a life size poster of Bo Jackson on my wall. It said "Grow with Bo and the 4 food groups" or something like that and had a place to measure your height. I still have it packed away somewhere.
