On a plane with Tim McCarver (he is a Douchbag)

I am currently on a flight with Tim McCarver from ATL to LAX. When everybody started boarding (first class) there was the normal 20-30 people waiting at the boarding area. They make the announcement for first class and and everybody gets in a line. Then from behind everybody McCarver comes up and says excuse me, excuse me, excuse me and is kind of pushing his way up through everybody. The gap was quickly closed from him getting in front of everybody and he had this look on his face like "do you know who I am?" He was not let in front of people and got on towards the back of the line. I enjoyed seeing this

Me and my dad stood outside of Busch Stadium at about 8:30 in the morning for a day game, our focus was to get McCarver on a 2006 World Series ball. We waited for a long time for him to come in. I went up to him and asked Mr.McCarver will you please sign my ball. He grabs his phone from his pocket and goes " I'm not signing anything." I was like wow are you kidding me ( of course i did not say this out loud) Not a very nice person

In defense of McCarver it has to be difficult to go through life constantly hearing from fans that you are the biggest waste of space in baseball...and then looking in the mirror and realizing it's true.

I agree with half of this, but come on what kid is a McCarver fan? Personalizing is fine to me but to say an athelete should shun the people cheering him on and paying his pay checks by buying tickets and merchandise is a bit harsh. They only exist because fans watch the game, otherwise they wouldn't be millionaires and believe they rule the world.

I was not ripping on his signing habits as I did not know these things until this thread. I was ripping on hime being an ass trying to get in front of everybody to the plane. He is probably pissed off he does not rate as a drive up and drop as I have seen with movie stars.
