Vintage oddball sets are definitely one of the more "fun" things for me in this hobby. They don't have to be expensive, but there is just something about older oddball items that always interested me. One of my favorites is the 1963 Bazooka All-Time Greats set. 41 total cards to the set, all Hall of Famers and all from the "earlier" days of the HOF.

The most notable inclusion is Babe Ruth, but also guys like Mel Ott, Ty Cobb, Cap Anson, Hornsby, Speaker, etc.

Condition is a pain with these, the foil is often scratched. The edges can be really tough and corners obviously.

Two variations exist, a kind of taupe color and a silver variation. Silver is more rare, but neither gains much of a premium.

Very cool, even though i've never attempted any oddball sets i think they're cool and enjoying seeing them posted.

How thin are these cards ? They look like they'd be kinda frail.
