Mays . . . "war"?

The closest Willie ever got to Korea was New Jersey.

Ted Williams was a real WWII and Korea combat vet, but Jerry Coleman saw more acton in a figther jet during the Korean War.

Not true - he played in San Francisco for a few years! :D

Cool card but definitely cheapened by surplus material. Topps has actually done a few historical sets right. 2009 American Heritage had the American Heroism which had some traceable materials and so did the two years of Mayo Football (2008 & 2009).
