Online purchases - Blowout v. Atlanta (or others) thoughts?

I recently started to switch my online purchases from Blowout to Atlanta to avoid paying local sales tax (I live in VA). But, I don't really know Atlanta Sports Cards all that well. Anyone have any feedback, good or bad about them v. Blowout?

This is purely a price based decision on my part to avoid the taxes...but I don't want to make a bad decision.

Anyone else I should be looking at?

Thanks Tom. I have had nothing but good experiences with BO, and I do recommend them. I just am looking back at all the taxes I paid last year and realized what I could have saved had I bought from someone else.

I would love to support my LCS here in Charlottesville, but they are 10%+ higher than BO or ATL before the taxes.

ATL is top notch. I am in the same boat as you but reversed. I live in ATL and deal with Blowout to save taxes. Josh has beat Blowout before and I will use them when it is in my advantage.

I use both and have only had one bad experience with Blowout back in 2004. I continue to use them when the price is right.

If your LCS is only 10% above Blowout or Atl consider yourself very lucky. Boxes of base Topps are usually $25 higher at my LCS.

I've purchased from both and honestly, the hits have been pretty decent. I stopped buying wax on Ebay because...well....mediocrity - but I've had decent luck with both BO and AtL.

I get Atl. shipments in 2 days if I order before 3:30 pm, sometimes my BO orders take up to 5 days it seems. As far as boxes go, both seem to be equal with getting really good cards.

They are the main people I use and never had an issues.

I prefer to buy from Josh at Atlanta as well. He has always been great to deal with, returns emails promptly and is competitive. Highly reccomend Josh and ATL.

As I said above, I do recommend BO - but b/c of the taxes for those of us in VA - I am going with ATL. My first purchase from them was actually about 2 weeks ago - 2 of the Leaf Ink Baseball boxes. They had it listed before BO (and still do). I will try to get those scans up later this week. I put in my Archives and Bowman orders today with ATL...Here's to a good year of ripping from a new store!
