Thinking about going to see them play while in DC. Luckily, they are at home. Worth going? All I know is, compared to Yankee Stadium, their prices are awesome. $75 to sit front row. In the Old Yankee Stadium it was like $550 (definitely more in the new one :o)

Re: Opinions on RFK Stadium?

a) I guess you're referring to the Yankees.
b) No one plays at RFK, as the Nationals moved to a new park.

Nationals Park. I hear it's quite beautiful. You going to the exhibition game at the new Yankee Stadium this Friday vs the Cubs? It's like $2 a ticket.

I was actually considering going. I think it's even cheaper than that. I think they are doing some sort of promo where it is the same price a ticket was back when the old Yankee Stadium opened up. I could be way off, but that's what I heard on the radio.

Yeah I'll be there. Really excited to check it out.

the park is beautiful but all the concessions are overpriced more then a normal park.
Thanks for the info. I'm guessing its worth going, but if I planned to pigout, I should think again?

Very nice park. Best deal for food is probably the chilli mac (chili over a plate of spaghetti ) from Hard Times (i think its like 8 bucks or something and is a pretty good amount of food with cornbread). Also check out Noah's Pretzels, not a great deal but a good cause. http://www.examiner.com/a-1244557~Natio ... rly_W.html

I'm chaperoning the 8th grade trip to DC in a couple of weeks, and we're going to a Nats game one of the days we're there (not sure which, though, but I know it's the Phillies). I'm really looking forward to it.

I went to 4-5 games last year, never paid more than $12 and always sat on the lower deck. No one goes to the games and the ushers don't care if you sit where ever you want.

I think they play the Phillies from the 14-16. I know they play the Marlins starting the 17th, the day after the series with Philly ends. Is that the series you are going to? That's an awesome trip, by the way. That'll be a great experience for the kids.

Thanks for the info. That's a great cause. I'll probably buy a pretzel to support the cause.

Yeah, those are the dates. I know the principal got the tickets, I just haven't seen a final itinerary yet.
I wanted to volunteer this year, so I don't have to go next year when the hellions of my 7th grade are going.
