is there a way to seperate incoming emails from the same sender?
i dont like how it combines them into one, with the number of them sent or
received so far. thanks

I always thought that conversation mode was one of the main reasons to use gmail. I love it.

Boomo, you are not an idiot. Gmail just takes time to get used to. At first I didn't like it but now I think it's great.

The way I see it, it keeps everything very organized for you. If you're looking for something in a past email are you going to know if it's in the 3rd, 5th, or 6th email in a conversation of 11 emails? Probably not, so by just click the conversation you have all of them right there for you to browse through.

Agreed. Conversation Mode and the labeling system made me move from Hotmail. I live and breathe gmail now. I am going to write a song about me and gmail.

If you click on the new one, it'll only open the new one and tab all the other so you can click through them if you need to.

Gmail is great because of the following

7+ gigs of space
google search your mail
labels make it very easy to archive
google chat and aim interface on the left hand side.

I could go on and on.

Say you had a email conversation that was 20 emails (10 sent, 10 received) long. If you wanted to go back to get information from earlier in the conversation, it is all right there at a click...no guessing.

You'll get used to it and you'll love it.

I like the google homepage you can set up too. Put sports stories specific to your home teams, any stock tickers your interested in, weather for your hometown, email preview etc...
