I don't know how you can make that statement since the first iPhone has neither been out for two years nor had any problems. I've had the 3G iPhone since it's been available and have never had a problem. I know plenty of people with the first iPhone since day 1 and no problems.

Do you know if they offer a warranty with this deal? If so, that's a hell of a bargain. The iphone is one of the best inventions ever and has seriously made my life easier. I'm posting from it right now!

The only warranty offered is AppleCare which is $69 for an extra year of support (totalling 2 years).

first time was my fault, there was damage.
second tiime, the phone would not repsond to the usb cord, so i couldnt charge or sync it.
now it's un responsive.


i've had probably 25 iphones over the last year and a half, with only about three being my fault with physical damage.

Like the Iphone a lot.. If it wasnt for all the dead spots in my area I'd still be with AT&T.. It was to the point I couldnt even use the phone anywhere in the house..
I ended up switching to Verizon and got the Blackberry storm... Have no complaints yet... We'll see though since its only been 2months..
