OT: Barcelona vs Manchester United...who you got?

Two most popular futbol teams go at it any minute now for the UEFA crown. I'm pullin for Man U, been a fan since I took a game in when I went to Europe.


This is not a "general" topic and therefore should not be moved. Other non baseball european sports have been discussed on this particular board in the past.

Yeah, growing up when I played soccer there wasnt really any local teams to love. Then when I went overseas..oohhh man. Dabbled a bit in college. Loved it.

Yeah, growing up when I played soccer there wasnt really any local teams to love. Then when I went overseas..oohhh man. Dabbled a bit in college. Loved it.

I played during half of HS and then walked on in college. Played two years in college, but stopped because three sports (skiing, soccer, baseball) became too hectic.

I have always had a love/hate relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo. He has so much talent, but he either makes stupid decisions, dribbles too much, or plays absolutely brilliant. It's never even keeled play with him.

I hope Man U wins. Being Portuguese I like C Ronaldo, but he seems to only do well with Man U and never with Portugal in the World Cup. Portugal might not even qualify for the WC! That would be embarrasing.
