Same happened here with the Chiefs. They are building a new stadium in Kansas. When they put it to a public vote if failed. We are overtaxed in Jackson County, where Kansas City, MO is located. There are stories about elderly people losing their homes that they paid off many years ago because they can't afford the annual property taxes.

I wonder if they move, that they will change the team's name. The owner of the NE Patriots keeps threating to move the team to Hartford Connecticut. Because the state won't put up any money for access to his parking lots. He doesn't want to part with any of his billions of dollars.

My brother inlaw made it as far as the bears training camp in the late 60's or early 70's before being cut.

Same on new york. My house is paid. My taxes now more that what mortgage was. Wife wants to go to Florida in a year or so when she retires.
