Perhaps, but that's quite the hedge in late May. I think the Angels view it as, his bat gives them a better chance to win in NY than trying to tame that lineup.

Yeah I have been surprised how little they have played him, they are not a talented team but a 2 superstar team that could make the playoffs if they played Ohtani more. They even give him lots of off days from DH!! What would be best for you is if they get on a huge hot streak and Mariners/other WC teams collapse. . . .then they can keep this Ohtani pace.
