Well, Malkin had a 2-minute penalty for interference on Ovechkin, who had no penalties at all. The Caps came back from a 3-1 deficit to win 6-3. Ovechkin is ESPN's top star of the night, having two goals and an assist. Ovechkin overtook the goal scoring lead in the NHL, and he finished plus-2 on the ice, while Malkin finished minus-3 and Crosby finished minus-1.

Malkin still owns the scoring lead in the NHL, so I cannot say anything other than, for tonight, I feel vindicated.

I guess time will tell.

Caps 6, Pitt 3.
