None of the Texas or Oklahoma schools would even think of leaving. But Colorado going their or mizzou to Big 10 meh, we could bring in TCU and Boise State then. Give them a real conference to play in and earn their shot at the title.

Wonder if we'll end up seeing a bidding war for the Texas/Texas A&M combo between the PAC 10 and the SEC? With all of the possible scenarios, do you think the Big [strike:3qpgnewm]11[/strike:3qpgnewm] 10 will regret starting all of this if they don't snag ND?

Not necessarily they will have many options if something does go down. There are so many rumors it almost seems sure that the big 12 will not be around in a few years.

If the pac 16 thing happens then you'll have 6 teams left to choose from for the Big 10 including Nebraska and missouri.

Poor Boise State, BYU, and Utah.

Its rumored that if the Big 12 we know today would go away that Baylor, Colorado, Kansas, Kansas State and Iowa State would join Boise State and Fresno State for a new Super Mountain Conference:

Boise State
BYU
Utah
TCU
Colorado
Colorado St
New Mexico
Air Force
Wyoming
UNLV
Baylor
Kansas
Kansas State
Iowa State
San Diego State
Fresno State

I just dont see why the Pac 10 doesn't invite Boise State, Utah, BYU, and Fresno State and let the Big 12 blowup on its own.

Not enough money/potential viewership in those TV markets. They need to hit bigger TV markets like Denver, Dallas, Houston, Austin, OKC, etc. if they want to really increase the money in their next TV deal (which ends after this season).

Bingo!

Just like the BCS itself, it's all about the Benjamins. Estimates have the Pac10 teams doubling their TV money if they get these teams to defect, especially the Texas boys.
