Not sure if this has been posted. I found out it was canceled last week. Kind of lame. I guess the Padres feel they don't have much to be festive about.

Really? That stinks, I enjoyed going last year. That's too bad. Another dumb move by the Padres...

Wow, you scared me for a minute there. I was just glancing over the thread titles and thought it said Pirates Fanfest was canceled. Sorry to hear it was canceled. Do you think it has anything to do with the Padres efforts to cut costs?

I know the Pirates usually use their fanfest as an opportunity to boost ticket sales, since a surprising number of casual fans/families will come out and purchase 10 game packages or single game tickets for some of the more popular events such as bobble heads or fireworks nights.
