The NY hype train is something you NEVER underestimate. If you're in really low, surely capitalize on the media blitz.

If you can get some cheap in a few weeks, I say buy. He isn't as bad as you all say and if he adds anything to his development, another media blitz could come in a year or two.

Who cares if he's a reliever. He is a one of a kind pitcher, so stats are secondary (to an extent).

+1, he isnt as bad as everyone makes him out to be. his era last season between 2 leagues was 1.61 and had 20 something saves and 7 walks / 77 strikeouts

those numbers dont look too bad to me

When the hype is at the highest, so are the prices. I think it is the time to sell on this one.

I checked my bank account and found that I have $26. I can really use some money right about now so this is perfect timing.

TOPPS MISSED THE BOAT ON HIS CARDS...THEY SHOULD HAVE A CARD ( BOWMAN STERLING) OF HIM THROWING RIGHT HANDED

The plates are righty

Thanks for the input everyone. I put my Contenders Auto up before I even asked. Any time you can get $20 for an unnumbered card of a relief pitcher I think it is a good thing :D

A blue just went for lower then what they had been going for before his spring training appearance. That's the one card I have, I'd like to sell, but for a profit.

I don't really think hes good and he is most likely to be used as a reliever.

Really!?! You think a reliever may be used as a reliever!!!

That is an earth shattering prediction!!

During yesterday's game, his velocity topped out at 89 MPH right-handed and 82 MPH left-handed, as he relies more on his slider left-handed to be effective. He is aware that his velocity is not what is going to be his meal ticket to continue in baseball.

He seems to be a smart guy and has dominated every level he has been at. With that said, I bought a ton of his stuff and am selling now. I didn't expect a spike so early and am not making much money - if any - selling either.

His speed is over analyzed in this situation. He has great control and can pick his spots. I had talked with his dad about this and they know that his speed will not impress anyone, but his control will make him continue to move up the ladder.
