I'm about done with cards. This is getting ridiculous.

I recieve this from a buyer today:

hey received the card today not happy with it the card sticker is really bad not mentioned in description big crease in the middle of the willie with other creases i would need a partial refund or i can file dispute and send the card back for full refund not trying to be difficult but this is pretty bad in person with the card in front of me

Auction Listing (Pay attention to the describtion).

I've just initiated a transfer of all funds from my paypal account to my bank account. Once complete, I will close it, and open a new one. I'm not about to give this deuche a refund.

It won't matter, paypal will reclaim the funds from your account. Best bet is to offer a full refund as soon as you receive the card back. I never, EVER bite on that partial refund BS, it's a load of crap. All or nothing, no in between.

Card is graded, I would fight his dispute.

The worst that's going to happen if you lose, you get your card back and you'll just have to re-list it.

Sucks and I'm sorry for your troubles

some people on ebay are really dumb.

i sold an iphone and explicitly wrote in the description that only the iphone and usb cord are included.

buyer files a claim for $59, stating that no accessories were included and he wants $59 back since that is the retail cost of them. now, i would've let paypal handle this... but paypal, being the amazing company that they are, decided to not freeze the $59, but freeze the entire payment on my account of $360 which really ticked me off. so, i decided it's $59 and not worth crying over. i let him have it and agreed to the partial refund, told him to learn how to read, and blocked him. dumba$$

good luck man

My ebay problems seem to be exponentially growing over the past few weeks despite clear descriptions/scans of the items. I'm tired of dealing with *$%$$%#E$#@$%#$%#$%#$%#$%#$%#$%#%#$%#$%#$%#$%#$%#$%#$%#$%#%#$% idiots. California people are hard to please apparently, as I've had 2 buyers from Cali complain about the condition of a card in less than a month.

If you do that with your balance, then you had better go in right now and erase your credit card and bank account information, or PayPal may go right into there and take it. You don't want to go to buy groceries one day only to find out you have no money in your bank account because PayPal secretly stole it.

If only it was legal to track people down and beat them...

This is where I worry. Let's say a claim is filed, paypal freezes the balance of the transaction, and ultimately decides in the buyers favor (incorrect, yes - we all agree - but it happens). Now the buyer gets his money back and still has the card. At that point, all you have is the word of what is obviously a less-than-ethical buyer that he'll send your card back to you. You no longer have any leverage (i.e. his money) and thus he has no incentive to send the card back, and you're out $350 AND the card.

Because of this, and yes, it happens, whenever I get an ******* like this buyer (please list his ID by the way so I can block him) I just tell him to return the card and I'll refund upon receipt. At the end of the day, it's better to take a small hit and be 100% sure you can re-sell than be s.o.l. completely.

see for me, it'd be more fun to just track these people down and just tell them how absolutely dumb they are. literally just go off for a minute or two and tell them that they need to learn how to read, how to interpret what you are reading, how to re-read just to make sure you know what you are doing. i'd probably bring a little picture book too, just in case they need to start at that level.

honestly, some people on ebay are just plain stupid

end rant

Nah, most people only respond to violence, so it's my preferred method of negotiation :D

I'd do what you can to fight it. Also, if you open a new account while your old account has any open issues, you better make sure your new account cannot be linked to your old one in any way, or your new account will get locked. Trust me, the EXACT thing happened to me and my original PayPal account. The worst thing, and most confusing, was that they wouldn't allow me to use the money in my new account to pay what I owed on my old one, even though they linked the two.

I'm kinda confused here. I put a dispute through last month and got my money back, but only after I mailed it back to the seller and gave paypal the DC number. They told me to give them the number.

The day it was delivered I got my refund. 100%

Is this not the usual way it goes?

That was my only time into a dispute so sorry for my ignorance, I just assumed that was always the case?

BTW, and I know I'm singing to the choir here, but if you lose this dispute on a slabbed, graded card then dear Lord something is really wrong in the world

Dang, that's a nice card. I hope it works out for you. I can't believe they would side with this guy when you clearly stated condition in your description, and it's grade is clearly stated too. What a j-a. Plz post his id.

I would not give this guy a partial refund. I would ask for the card back and give a full refund.
Dude just wants money back since he can't sell it for more then he paid for it.

But if you give him a partial refund he well then in turn sell it and make money off of it.
Buyers remorse. What a tool bag.

I would like to know his user ID so I can block him from my stuff.
Good Luck, it sucks that you have to go thru this but, it happens all the time.

Normally I would agree that PP would side with the seller here, however, due to their recent "we love buyers" campaign, I would not be one bit surprised if they didnt.
