This is going to seem unethical, but I have a legitimate rationale. I want to send out a 2nd package to someone in my Christmas giveaway without him sending another penny.
When you print out a label to ship on Paypal, I believe you have one day to reprint it at no charge.
What mechanism does the post office have in place to ensure that you don't print off multiple labels (for free) and then send out multiple packages? I understand that the delivery confirmation may be screwed up, but in a situation like this where I don't care about delivery confirmation, would it go through?
Now, again, I have NO INTENTION of screwing over the USPS and breaking the law, and I will pay for a new shipping label assuming Paypal lets me (I think they will). But, because my mind is trained to think of all sides of a situation, I am curious about this. If anyone's tried it, heard of someone trying it, or works for the USPS, let me know. I'm SURE there's a mechanism in place that won't allow it; I'm just curious as to what it is.
