How about you do it, since you're the one that threw the claim out in the first place?

Regardless, that has nothing to do with the K numbers.

And here, read the splits for yourself, the only time he crumbles is in domes for some reason. You can not call him a product of Petco whatsoever.

Plus his K's are way down and his walks are way up on the road compared to at home.

Something else to think about is the switch to the AL. That usually means at least a half run on a guys ERA if not more. That said, Peavy is still a good pitcher. I'd be happy to have him play on the Tigers.

My favorite part of this is leaving out his 2006 and 2009 ERAs since they aren't in line with the other years. He's also a high maintenance pitcher regarding the health of his shoulder and elbow. He's had a bunch of issues that he pitches through, but may catch up to him in time.

was Chicago now Glendale AZ
Axelrod said on chicago radio that it was the exact 4 players involved in previous deal

Richard was involved in other deal according to Peavy agent

1) Sox have nice four man rotation for next 3 seasons (Mark B, Peavy, Danks, Floyd)

5th man = Ozzie's in-law Freddy Garcia or Jose Contreras

2) Richard and Poreda weren't going to see rotation therefore. So losing them is meaningless. They already like the 5 others in the pen

I kind of hope they give Torres another shot before giving DJ Carasco and/or Garcia a shot for the spot that Peavy will eventually take

what was the trade a few months ago again?

Richard wasn't in it. By Peavy rejecting last time, he actually increased the Padres' return.
It was the exact same 4 pitchers offered in May, but they were not all named. At least what I heard on 670, can't remember but I think it came from Kenny.

As a fan, I like it. As for my stashes, I am about done with Sox prospects!
