I like it. He could be worth 100M in the first five years of the deal. Glad to see him (hopefully) become a lifer, would join Tek as the only one this century.

Gotta say as a Yankee fan this is good for the Yanks with the Cano negotiations. That's a pretty good deal for the Sox and hopefully it brings down the numbers at least somewhat for the Cano deal. Most importantly the number of years.

I'm not a Red Sox fan, but I love watching Pedroia play.
He reminds of Pete Rose. Nonstop hustling and giving it all he's got in every at bat, on the bases and in the field.
He's the complete ballplayer.

Great move by the Sox, very team friendly contract. I don't think I could picture anyone else manning second base. Hopefully he will retire a Red Sox, just like #1 .
