Peel before grading? Never graded a card and need advice!

No, it is typical with 1996 (among others) and as long as there are no creases you will be fine.

Yes, no creases what so ever. Card is actually in really great shape. I'm going to look at it very closely this weekend and make a judgement call on grading it. I'm such a newby but thanks everyone for the advice, help, etc.
