Penguins training camp thread

the 2009 Stanley Cup Champions begin the defense of their championship today as the players reported to the UPMC Southside Complex for physicals. the Pens will take the ice on Sunday at the Mellon. they play their first preseason game on Tuesday vs the Blue Jackets (I will be there ).

man, just a couple of days of training camp and then boom you are thrown into a preseason game..... I think all sports should take notice of this, and try and do it the same way. I bet the players like it this way.

I couldn't believe it when I saw TSN advertise a Maple Leafs game. It's almost October .

Nice car MAF!! Im also shocked that abunch of the Trees look like they are changing colors already in Pittsburgh :? Everything is still green here.

the leaves start to change in early September around here but its still 80 degrees today.

the Penguins play their first preseason game tonight vs the Blue Jackets. I will be there . the Pens are only 3 days into camp and are giving some of their young prospects a chance to shine tonight. the prospects had their camp 2 weeks ago and have already played in the prospect tournament so they are a little more game ready.
