It came across on TV like that, WOW wish I was there. How many hat do you think were tossed on the ice when Ovie got his third?

They filled up 2 50 gallon trash cans full with them, plus 2 50 gallon trash bags... It was unreal...

There were a lot less Pens fans there last night compared to Saturday but I am sure it being a week night had a lot to do with that.
Tickets are still plentiful on the secondary market so I hope Pittsburgh isn't going to whine about that. Still can't believe Cindy whined about the Ovechkin hat trick celebration taking too long, give me a break...
Whining highlight of the night came early in the 2nd period when the only Pens fan anywhere near me complained about not getting a call when one of their guys fell down... Seriously, after 3 PP's in the first period, coming off a game where they got all the penalty calls?

Kris Letang will be a game time decision tonight. he skated this morning in practice and said he felt fine but Bylsma said he will decide before the game if he or Phillippe Boucher will play.
I will be at the game tonight and will post some pics tomorrow. tonight is a must win for the Pens and I think they will win 4-3.

Caps took the night off and unfortunately there was a game scheduled. But to their credit, their whining worked and the ref's listened and therefore the Pens win. Malkin was a beast tonight and the Pens had more energy, I will say that.
What's up with the music they play at the Igloo? Ozzy, Dio, Scorpions, Bad Company, is that city that far behind the times?? How lame!!! At least I know where my cassette player ended up. Geez!!!

Malkin took over the game about 10 minutes into the first period and dominated. the Pens powerplay is still awful and they will not go much further if it doesn't start to click.
Varlamov had another incredible game and was the number 3 star and he deserved it. I just wish he would start to play like a rookie but I don't think that's going to happen.

Can Mike Green play any worse? I would almost rather see Alzner play because at least he plays good D... Green isn't providing anything on either end. Caps D was horrific all around though, Varlomov kept it close, Pens needed to win and it really showed in OT.
PP's thru 3 games, Pitt 17, Caps 9, unfortunately I don't see that changing.
Hopefully Washington wakes up for Game 4 and will be up 3-1 when I am at the Game on Saturday
