Sergei Gonchar took part in the Pens optional practice yesterday and again this morning in the full team practice at the Verizon Center. he said yesterday he felt pretty good but would wait to see how he felt today. I guess since he practiced today his knee must be feeling better. he is still listed as a game time decision. the Pens really need him to play tonight but I would hate to see him injure himself even worse than he already is.

Of course it was!!! Watch the replay in slow motion, you can see AO's knee go forward directly at Gonchar's knee. If he keeps on taking runs at other teams best players, he's going to get JACKED up one of these times by that teams goon.

I was hoping Fedotenko would have taught him a lesson - he's a pretty good hitter. If not, then I'd love to see 6'7" Gil lay him out. Not to cause injury, but just to put him in his place.

I love playoff hockey!!! I can't wait for tomorrow night......when all the Capital fans go home sad!!!!!

Just like I said yesterday...the Caps fans go home sad!!! That was probably one of the best series I've ever seen though, too bad it wasn't for the cup, cuz I don't think there's going to be another series as good as this one was.

Sidney Crosby dominated that game and the Pens destroyed the Caps tonight.

that was the greatest series I have ever seen. I really wish it was in the Eastern Conference Finals but I will definitely take this.

hopefully Mike Green can find a stick he likes so he doesn't have to ask fans for sticks anymore. what an embarrassment.

That was AWESOME, I was laughing so hard, cuz once again, Geno saw AO coming full speed at him and just side stepped him and AO nailed Backstrom.

So glad the Caps decided to sit this one out. What a shame. You would think after that game six ot winner they would come out with some fire and tenacity. They just flat out sucked. Pens took it to them and they just sat back and watched the goals pile on. Crosby once again scored parked in front of the net. Would have been nice to see him get cleared out instead of the D playing with the puck.
