Penguins vs Islanders pics

what an exciting game last night. the Pens won 6-4 and Evgeni Malkin recorded a hat trick and Crosby had 6 points with 2 goals and 4 assists. despite John Tavares being a non-factor in the game it was still cool to see him play in person and it was good to see the Islanders playing a much stronger and skilled game than in years past. they made some very nice passes and played pretty strong defense. I think if DiPietro was in goal this game may have been a whole lot different.

there was one scary moment when Pascal Dupuis was hit from behind by Andy Sutton and knocked out cold and he was bleeding from his head. he came to and was able to get off the ice with some help but I am sure he doesn't feel very good today. Sutton was given a 5 minute major for boarding and thrown out of the game and will likely be suspended.

there was no need for Sutton to hit him that hard when his back was to him. he could have bumped him or tried to get him off the puck but there was no need to blast him like that.
