I have a bunch of these and this is one of those instances where I am extremely jealous of this seller. A couple bidders (not me) have gotten into a war on several of these Dodger patches, but many others are selling for wonderfully strong prices. They don't pop up a lot, but all of the prices seem way too high. Great for the seller, if they are all legit and pay!

If you need a player, many are still 0 bids at the opening bid price of $5.95. Even that seems steep for a common single, but maybe they are harder than aI recall them being.

$75+ for each of Lopes, Cey and Garvey! WOW!!

They remind me of the patches on the wristbands that many players wore in the '80s and early '90s.

He probably meant the Strawberry in the photo, of course. I suspect some of the Penn players are much tougher to find based on those prices, but I am not aware of any specific scarcities. I know Garvey doesn't pop up often, but I have seen fewer of other issues for sure. The RC Cola iron-on for example, may be one of the scarcest items I have not seen often on ebay.

I saw someone selling many of the common Penn Emblems and several bigger stars for roughly $4-5 each, but some of the higher priced listings were not in their inventory. Stands to reason guys like Cey, Lopes and a few others may have been less popular at the time (or bigger players were double/triple produced to manage demand) and thus harder to find now.

it is possible, but I kind of doubt it. These and many other baseball collectibles/souvenirs were sold mostly through magazines in the 70s-80s, stuff like posters, buttons, pennants, etc. If you look in old baseball digests, sometimes SIs (although their ad rates were probably higher and it made less sense as i doubt some of these items were very high margin items), pretty much any baseball themes magazine in the 70s, you'll find ads and order forms.
