I noticed there's going to be a signing at the Tom Clark Chevy in McKeesport this week, and with Piratefest this past weekend, and the Curve's fanfest this coming weekend...I have a bad case of the autograph bug. I think Tom Clark has had a couple of free signings this year, so hopefully Dave and/or Tim can give me some tips (or anyone else for that matter).

Any suggestions as to where to pick up any 8X10's of any of the guys? I have cards for Bourque, but nothing for any of the other three at the moment. Ideally, I'd like to find a couple of nice 8X10's from last year's finals.

Also, any suggestions as to how early to get there? I figure it's going to be a zoo.

Tim went to the signing earlier in the season and can give you better info than I can. as far as 8x10's I would say Sports Cards Etc in McKees Rock near the Mall at Robinson or there is a store in the Mall at Robinson but they charge a little more for their 8x10's.

I'll have to check that out. I thought there used to be a store in Robinson that had very reasonably priced 8X10's (something like $3 each), and I bought some Pirate 8X10's from them 2 years ago, but I went back there prior to Piratefest, and couldn't find the place. I think their location is now a BC Sports.

Hopefully I can track something down by Thursday.

Correct, that place went out of business and BC is there now. I was mad the last time I was there, I was hoping to buy some 8x10's but they weren't there anymore and overpriced BC didn't have anything.

Like Dave said, I went to the one a few months ago and I got there around 3:00 and was 5th in line. I would suggest you get there anywhere from 3-4. They passed out vouchers with numbers on them, marking your place in line, so you didn't have to stand in line for hours, you could go back to your car and relax for a while. Then around 5:30, they said numbers 1-50 to come inside and get in numerical order. It was very well organized. Since Letang was sick and had to cancel, they passed out a sign up sheet for the first 50 people that were there and we get to go to the front of the line this Thursday. So if you get there early and are one of the first people there, you are actually going to be like 51st or 52nd in line once the signing starts.

I bought an 8x10 of the SC banner that got raised in Mellon Arena for them to sign, since the only player I need on my 16x20 team photo is Letang.

PM me if need any more details.

Thanks Tim. That was just the info I was looking for. I've been looking to branch out my collection a bit to include some more Pens and Steelers stuff, so I figured this would be a nice chance to get some things signed if I can track down any decent shots from the finals. If any other questions come to mind, I'll let you know.
