Question is I immediatley noticed the auto looked different from an spx I once had
so I checked on ebay and it is not even close? Thoughts

^^^^^^This is what his autos always looked. Did he just get lazy?? The penmanship n the very 1st letter looks totally different even in the way it flows. He might have realized he need to actually put a "P" at the beginning of his 1st name. His 1st autos made no sense. ^^^^^

Its legit, mainly because you got it from the manufacturer, but also because the "P" just looks like he messed up a little. I actually think it looks better than the ones he usually does.
