CC Sabathia is an absolute joke. Coughed up yet another lead. At least when Phil Hughes sucks he sucks from the get go, not the second he gets a lead.
I remember him talking about how he'll get better when the weather gets warmer.

he's coming off of surgery. at his age that's not easy. I bet he has a great season next year. you want hughes, they pushed him back til Monday.
The biggest probel with Hughes is he always seems to give up the big hit at the worst of times. Not many would take Hughes over CC given their track records. CC is off this year its easy to see. Id bet he comes back much better next year. Hughes needs a change of scenery bad.

Hughes was just taken out of the rotation and put in the bullpen.

One of those is Phil Hughes, the other is CC Sabathia. Take your guess as to which is which.

Won't be shocked in the least if he signs with a national league team, especially with a big ballpark, and wins 18, like Ian Kennedy.

I think it's funnier you judge a SP on their W/L record.
Educate yourself, then laugh at his poor WHIP and his inability to keep the ball in the ballpark.
Maybe you think Chris Sale is bad because he has an 11-13 record?

Nope, probably doesn't want either...just was pointing out that Hughes was less bad then CC.
Hm...I don't think I've ever seen a 'good' pitcher who went 4-14. Sometimes you can't judge a pitcher by their W/L but in this case, it's justified.

In this case, maybe, but he should be looking at the supporting stats to judge the pitcher.
Plenty of good/great pitchers have had losing records but the supporting stats show how good they were (ie: Cliff Lee last year).

Nolan Ryan went 8-16 in 1987, but lead the NL in ERA, strikeouts and came in 5th in Cy Young voting.
So many people criticize Ryan for having a poor lifetime winning percentage, but he played on some horrifically bad teams.
