Phillies fans - why not Dobbs over Valdez?

Why not move Polanco back to 2B and let Dobbs play 3B against RHP?

I know Dobbs is only hitting .200 but since he was DFA'd and has come back he's been almost hitting .300 with some bombs thrown in.

I just think the Phillies need all the offense they can get right now and playing Valdez against RHP isn't going to cut it.

They don't want to mess up with Polanco's DEFENSE in a new position. they acquired him as an 3B.

just waiting for Utley. and by then we will be out of the race........

Dobbs is a terrible fielder and every phillies fan should cringe every time a ball is hit in his direction...

terrible enough to where you wouldn't put him in for his offense over Valdez?

At this point in the season, I'd be looking for any offense I could get. I would think the difference between Dobbs and Valdez offensively would outweigh the difference between Dobbs defensively @ 3rd and Valdez @ 2nd.
