I wouldn't have been upset if he continued to pitch, but I think this is for the best. He hasn't been sharp lately either. This has been rumored to happen all year, but I think they wanted to see how he looked when approaching the limit and they just decided to give him a couple of more weeks rest then everyone else.

Good idea IMO. I wouldn't be surprised if M.Taylor doesn't play again this season either (as he's still out). From reading his blog, I believe he'll be playing Winter Ball so that's cool with me (it also mentioned he'd be going back to Clear Water to rehab before the season's over but with each passing day it is looking less likely).
