like I said GAME OVER. I must be a loser. Every team I root for they lose.

Sure looks there’s gonna be a Game 7.

Heckuva catch by McCormack!

He’s from my hometown, although he went to our crosstown rival.

And went to my daughter’s college.

Screw that guy! 😎

Trey Mancini and Chas McCormick saved the Astros with their defensive plays. Chas catch will go with Dewayne Wise and Endy Chavez as one of best game saving catches of all time

look... here is a team that didn't even get 90 wins. here is a team that wasn't supposed to make the playoffs.. here is a team that wasn't going to make it past the first round of the playoffs. look at that team who so far got 2 wins against a MUCH better team. If they loose im fine with that. Dont forget when we got our new coach we were below .500 too.

" If you settle for 2ND best, you're a loser "

Everyone is eventually a loser, because its rare that anybody wins every time. Sure, there are undefeated individual and teams across moments of history (72 Dolphins, for example), but they lost sometime along the way!

I am a cub fan. so for 60 years I knew I was a loser. Since 2017 I've started all over again.

Not a fan of the Astros, but there were just enough things to make it feel good, like that $75M bet, Baker getting the managerial WS win and that no hitter! Congrats to the Astros. Not a fan of the Phillies either, but nothing drawing me to want them to win. Still disappointed in the early departure of the Dodgers.

Yeah I thought the $75 million sounded like a cool story, like some guy placed a crazy long-odds bet at the beginning of the season that they would win the world series in x number of games by hitting x home runs and scoring x runs, or some degenerate gambler bet everything he had and would have gone broke otherwise...but nope it's just some old rich guy getting richer. Lame.

Mattress Mack is loved in Texas. He does a lot for the community.
Here's an article about him.
https://www.espn.com/chalk/story/_/id/34964211/mattress-mack-wins-historic-75m-payout-astros-title
From the article....
This year's deal offered to refund any customer who spent at least $3,000 on furniture double their money back if the Astros won the World Series. He'll use the $75 million from his winning bets to pay back happy customers who participated in the promotion and likely still turn a cushy profit.

Obviously he wins either way as it's a fantastic promotion.

Anyways, I do tip my Cap to the Phillies as they had me nervous each and every game, and had an extraordinary run through the playoffs.
Being 61 years old and a lifelong Astros fan, it feels good to finally get a legit World Series Championship.
