Way to back up your argument with statistics and facts...:

Anyway, reports now are Amaro saying the reports aren't true and Howard will man first base next year for the Phils

Lol if you actually think that they are similar then there's no need to even reason with you. All you need to do is watch defense. Tex is the best defensive first basemen in the bigs. Howard is one of the worst. The value right there speaks for itself.

Reason with me, I wasn't the one who compared them...
Why so angry bud?

Who said I was angry?

There's no need to even reason. IF you watch Tex at all, you would know that on defense alone he is an incredibly superior player. Tex average has dropped off but he's still batting 250 with 30 or so bombs and 95-100 RBI's while playing top defense.

I'd say calling someone's opinion moronic with out provocation or an accompanying well thought out rebuke or rebuttal comes off as pretty angry

If you made your recent points that you just made to me without the name calling, I would think it would come off a lot better, but that's just my two cents

Perhaps if I put a ;) after my "comparison", there would be more love here.

Name calling would be saying "you are a moron" or "you are a b***h." Didn't they teach you that in school? Saying that opinion is moronic is completely true. I don't need points when anyone that watches Tex or howard even for a couple games would know how different they are :-o:eek::cool::rolleyes:

Its just a stupid comparison. There are much better players to compare Howard to.

Another bad comparison. Pujols is one of the best players of this ERA. Howard is maybe in the top 50.

Yes, but back when Howard was hitting 40-50 HRs per year, there were multiple threads comparing the two of them.
