I'll second that emotion. My Red Refractor is not happy.

So it ended up being Hunter Pence for Jarred Cosart, Jonathan Singleton, Domingo Santana, and Josh Zeid.

I think the Astros did a nice job in this trade since they are definitely in the rebuilding stage of their franchise.

agreed Houston parlayed him into some very nice pieces towards their rebuilding.

YES! Finally we made a solid trade when getting rid of arguably our best player (Pence). The Bourn deal still pisses me off though...

Astros are operating like this is an expansion team along with a team dead set on moving into a different league. Expansion teams usually incorporate a 5 year plan and looks like the Astros are doing that....

Two of the biggest swing for the fences prospects in the minors with Santana and Singleton in the same deal. Huge upside guys there. Virtually impossible to gauge value there. Kind of shocked that the Phillies gave them both up in the same deal.

I'm curious as to who else was on the list that was not chosen. Surprised that the Phils would let Domingo go.

...and I own one of his GCL PHillies jerseys.......
