Happy Monday.

Got the last two of these in today and thought it was time for a big scan. Tough to pass on blues for $25-$35 with the way he's been hitting.

This last one was listed as MSA Jiffy Pop Test Issue but it is a square uncut version with no writing on the back. If anyone has any info on it let me know.

I am not one to buy cards of a player drafted, but not signed. I'll be selling post-haste if Tyler Anderson doesn't sign with the Rox - probably will. Doesn't scan too well, but the card is actually rather nice.

Why the interest in Maholm though?

Cheap, which is always a top 2 reason for going after someone. There are a good number of '06 cards, which, if anyone has ever really looked at my JJ collection, the '06 stuff is stuff I absolutely love. Another is that he's got some '04 stuff, which makes it a little more fun to go back and pick up stuff from then, when I really did nothing at all with baseball (then it was all football, all the time).

Hopefully I'll be able to start a JJ'esque collection, but I know it won't get that size. Oh, and I won't be happy with only one copy of each card w/Maholm either

Nothing big, but decided to acquire some Jason Jennings. His '99 Topps looks great. I might amass a few PSA, BGS and raw copies.

I've also officially changed to a white-with-magnetic-holder scan; I just think they look cleaner. I don't think I'll be re-scanning everything, however.
