pickups from the last couple weeks and a question

It's not much but here are scans of the 2 cards I've got from shops since moving to Wisconsin:

Sotf Fmart from a $3 box

Pujols patch i got for what I think was a good deal

the patch is 44/49 and appears to come from the Cardinals writing on the front of the jersey. The pic at the bottom of the scan shows the imperfections of the card which is why I got the deal. It's tough to see from the pic but there is a little black ink bleeding at the bottom of the card on the front and some pink on the bottom edge at the corners. Other than the bleeding the card looks great. I'm sure others wouldn't touch the card because of those things, but they're not that noticable and don't detract from the awesome patch in my opinion.

The question is, do you think the discolorations are from the production of the card or do you think they happened afterwards before it found its way to me?

I'll say it a production issue. I'm pretty sure I have had a few GU with that issue. I can't say if they where Fleer cards or not though.

thanks for the opinion....it looked like it might have been a production problem to me, but I wasn't sure and probably never can be.

I also forgot to include a pic of a ticket stub

This is from Kyle Blanks debut. He pinch hit in the 8th or 9th and stuck out if I remember right. I was on vacation when I went to the game with my wife. Sadly, I could only find the one ticket and hers must have been misplaced. Kind of an interesting piece.

I have some tickets for players debuts and I even have of
Mark Buehrle's no hitter back in April of 07
They are my season tickets too. No I did not go to the game because the
brother in law canceled on me at the last minute. I did watch it on TV though.

Going to get mark to sign them as well as Dye (hit A granny that night)
Going to get thome to sign as well He hit 2 homers that night as well.

Reds in 2009: I got the Pujols from Hoffmans (the shop you recommended ). I actually passed on it the first time I was there and got to thinking about it after and went back to pick it up.

Pine Tar: I wish I lived closer to an MLB ballpark so I could get to more games. Ticket stubs are pretty sweet as far as memorabillia goes. I wish I could get the ticket signed by Blanks, but chances of that are unlikely. Although I want to keep the ticket in good condition, there's a part of me that wants to have one of the great custom card makers on the forums turn it into a sweet custom. The purist in me probably won't let me do that though.
